He is the author of six books, including High Tide Six Degrees, which won the prestigious Royal Society science books prize in 2008, was translated into 22 languages and adapted into a documentary broadcast on the National Geographic Channel The God Species Nuclear 2.0 and Seeds of Science. Mark is an environmental activist who has written extensively about the climate crisis.
