The novel also depicts the adventurous traits of the natives. As regards this, Cooper has quite artistically presented the prevailing culture of the Native Americans in the novel. The races portrayed in the novel are real and existed in the time of the writer. The Last of the Mohicans is a novel about national, cultural, social, gender, and racial equality.
